Beginning at the end of 2019, our annual #WinterWish campaign has been developed to change our consumer habits and improve our mental health during Wintertime. We’ve been inspired by many ideas from all the different religious festivals and fashionable celebrations in order to create a fully inclusive set of activities for anyone of any faith, gender, sexuality and political persuasion. Helping us to change our mindsets from Me to We and creating commonality and circularity in a time beseiged by divisive social atomisation.
Between 11/11 and 31/12 each year, we hope that people will join us in embracing peace and harmony during a time of year which can be stressful and tense for many. We are #DrivenByCircularity
Be a part of #WinterWish by carrying out all of the different aspects below, in any order you’d like, and sharing with each other in person and/or across social media between 11/11 and 31/12…
Light A Candle
A Candle is a symbol of warmth and light in the cold darkness of Winter. By lighting a candle, we are creating this warmth and light for ourselves and recognising that we are a force for positivity to combat much of the negativity which can threaten to engulf us.
We would recommend using a beeswax-based candle; although not necessarily vegan in nature they are more environmentally friendly than parrafin wax based candles.
Listen To Winter (By Star From Ivy)
Chris Baldwin wrote Winter after the death of his grandfather a number of years ago to help his grandmother through her grieving. It is about taking a break from all the noise around you and allowing for mindful solitude to help guide you through your emotions. It’s also about shunning depressive demons through acknowledgement and gratitude towards any negative emotions, and then letting them pass through and float away.
Winter will be available to hear in digital format across all the usual consumer platforms. It is available for preorder from 11/11/19 and will be properly released on Chris’ birthday - 29/11/19 (37 if you must know). There is also a lyric video which will be available to stream on this page after the song is released on 29/11/19.
Giving is one of the very best things that an individual can do to maintain a good mental health and emotional wellbeing. This can be either monetary, if comfortable and affordable, or by volunteering time and energy to help an existing charity to succeed in their aims. Another way to be charitable might be to minimise your belongings and donate them to an organisation or an individual who might find value in them.

Make a Wish for 2020
Prayer, meditation, and mindful thought are fantastic ways to focus the mind onto what’s truly authentic and important. Particularly at times where excessive consumption has become normal and expected behaviour. Think ahead to what the next year might bring, and how could our world be a better place? Don’t wish for material things or success for yourself, or wish harm to anyone else. Instead zoom out and imagine the bigger picture of a global community of humans trying to get by! Our collective wishes will probably be very similar.
When we wish upon a star, our dreams come true.
Nominate Two Others
Things are better and easier when they’re done together as a shared experience. Particularly when it’s something that’s outside of your comfort zone. It’s also a great encouragement to be nominated and in the thoughts of someone else as a person who could make a difference.
Choose two other people who can be a part of your #WinterWish journey each year and change your mindsets from Me to We together in Circularity.
